THE PERFECT WEDDING GIFT
Stressed out about finding the perfect wedding gift? You want to make the best decision for your loved one or special friend, but with so many choices it's hard! There are many options that will be appreciated by the new couple and here are a few suggestions.
Friends and Family of the Bride. Stick to the bridal registry. She's worked hard to make decisions as to the china pattern she wants, so respect her and make it easy on yourself - just get something off the registry. If this is borring, you hate the items on the registry, or if nothing is left, cash works great! Think of her theme, if she's chosen a Cinderella Wedding then a Cinderella Coach Figurine would be wonderful! If her theme is Golf then a round of golf would be appreciated!

Friends and Family of the Groom. You can also stick to the registry - but you know he probably had very little creativity in selecting the items. If you know he picked out something buy it, trust me you can figure it out the items he selected. My dear husband picked out a random ugly pinata, just to see if anyone would buy it. Another nice idea is getting a "date night" for their one month anniversary. Gift Certificates to their favorite restaurant (click here for specials on gift cards) or gift cards to movies make excellent gifts for the newlyweds.
A fun couple: The only thing left on a registry was a set of "chip clips" - so we bought them, with a bag of pretzles, and a nice set of beer mugs. The comment back from the couple was, on the drive to the honeymoon they were starving and remembered the bag of pretzles... ate them! So even a bag of pretzles is not a dumb gift!
Finally, write a nice note in the gift. Not just the gift card - but a note where you've put in thought - this is appreciated by both the bride and groom and will be saved!
